Many white Americans believe that the country has put racial issues behind in the past, and that there is no more racial discrimination among the citizens. One viewpoint is that if African Americans cannot succeed in life, then they are trapped at the bottom and will never thrive. Many people who are against racial discrimination believe that humans are not seeing the equality of the social world, and that we are not living in a democracy. The media pushes racial discrimination by continuously broadcasting a white police officer killing an African American. Consequently, this only stirs up more racial discrimination. Majority of the African American population considers that court decisions are biased towards race. People suggest that black culture is not fit for American society. Many of the white population view African Americans on the street as thugs and gangsters that only cause trouble for the community.
