Rachel Carson Research Paper

Rachel Carson was born in 1907 in Springdale, Pennsylvania. She was a writer, scientist, and ecologist She went to school at Chatham University.

Her book was called Silent Spring. It was published in 1962. It was about pesticides and the unsafe use of them. Mainly about birds. She was also a marine biologist.

She was never married. She also adopted a boy when she 48 years old. Rachel built two houses, one in Maryland, and the other in in Maine. She was very blunt and always spoke her mind.

Her achievments: Masters degree in Zoology.
One of the first women to be hired in a professional job.
Also, she was no stranger to fame.
Her mother introduced her to nature.

Rachel Carson and Marie Curie have some things similar and some different.
