In class I learned about race and discrimination through the articles I have read on Moodle. It reflects how white supremacy dominates over the black community because of their economic status and education. The class provide an insight of how blacks fight for their freedom and right living in a white dominant society. One thing is I find helpful is the group presentation I’m exposed to different theories that my classmates come up with based on the article they have chosen. For my part I learn writers like Assata Shakur expresses her feeling through writing poems to show how black were treated in prison. I gain a better understanding how Shakur was going through for being convicted of a crime she didn’t committed. I also learn about Malcolm
