Throughout high school, I had the opportunity to take on leadership roles to help strengthen my community by providing students with a safe, inclusive, and satisfying environment to learn in. As an RA, I would be able to provide the same environment for my residents to help them reach personal growth. I want to become the person that my residents feel comfortable approaching whenever they are in need of resources, advice or just a person to vent to about any situation no matter how big or small they may feel the situation is. As an RA, I would make it my mission to have my residents feel relieved and welcomed every time they enter their floor. I’ve been placed in various situations where I was able to give comfort and hope to those in my community
