A) 1. R. S. Peters’ conception of education – Education as an achievement term:- In the R. S. Peters’ perspective education as an achievement. It is its nature. It means education is a nature of understanding something or to get a success to the outcome of the specific activity. Education is not just going to school but acquires knowledge from school on other sources. Learning and teaching to somebody are not only education. Education is a result from some specific activity. Education is a desirable value and intrinsically worthwhile. In another way of Peters analysis is that education is a part of knowledge and understanding. It includes two criteria for cognitive perspective. That is- breadth and depth.

It is simply sanded for understanding in the manner of cognitive perspective. It has some metalized and the understanding is based on justification.

2.Aspects of life – value of life:- Christopher Winch said about value. Value means worth that things that we think highly off. Value is essential worthwhile of a life. And these are the forms of beliefs and attitudes. And values are held by the individuals, by groups and also society. Value of life is in the general debate on the aims of education because Winch says that “education is a preparation for life” and in this aspects three aspects they are – liberal, civic and vocational aspects. There is a distinction between liberal, civic and vocational aspects. Liberal aspect is a preparation for his own political life, and to choose our own direction in life. Civic aspect helps to the citizen who participates in the community. And the last one is vocational aspect is helping economically productive to the citizen while developing the people.
