On November 27, 2015 at approximately 1657hrs I, Officer Sullivan was notified by dispatch of a two vehicle crash at the corner of F Street and East Clark. Upon my investigation it was found that the crash had happened at the corner of G Street and East Clark. I talked to the reporting party Shawn Mannhardt; who told dispatch that he did not have a cell phone so he left his car at the intersection and walked home to call the police. Mr. Mannhardt informed me that the other person involved in the crash was Tabbatha Bailey. Summary: Jim, who lives in Detroit Michigan, had a few drinks at a local bar but was not intoxicated. Before he left he asked the bartender for a drink of water, who in error gave him a 6oz cup of 40% Vodka. Jim drank it quickly noticing the strength of the liquid but figured it was his imagination as he had requested water. The Vodka went straight to his head and he became intoxicated, causing him to lose control of his car which jumped a curb and killed two people. On 01/30/2017 at approximately 1931 hours, I was dispatched by Cortez Dispatch, for a suspicious vehicle, described as a green Chevy pickup, at the Pueblo Community College located at 33057 Hwy 160, in the County of Montezuma, and State of Colorado. Upon approach, I saw a vehicle driving into the parking lot from the westbound lane on Hwy 160. Upon arrival, I saw the vehicle matched the description I was given. It’s an odd case if you ask me. My only issue was that the attorney general obtained the warrant, which was the same guy in charge of the criminal prosecution and the investigation. That doesn’t seem fair to me. However, the vehicle situation is a little bit ridiculous and quite a stretch if you ask me. The purpose of this report is to document the arrest of Daniel Blancas (M/H DOB 11/09/97) for driving under the influence drugs (cannabis), speeding (73mph in a 55 mph), improper lane usage, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. I (Trooper Castillo #6570) was on patrol at 10:43 p.m. on 01/10/18, in the area of I90 southbound and Foster Avenue when I observed a white Nissan Altima entering the expressway from Foster Ave cross over 2 lanes of traffic at a high rate of speed. For my first observation, I went to Mercer Family Division in Mercer County, New Jersey. I observed several juvenile detention hearings.
