R.L. Stine
One of the greatest author during the 90s, R.L. Stine, wrote books that became one of the best selling books. Because of his great success, he was often compared to Stephen King in horror books because of the horror books they made and was also considered one of the greatest authors in the world. Stine had made over 400 million copies of his books worldwide, He even had some of his books translated into different languages. His accomplishment made him a very well known author. From being born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and before his successful career, Stine had a normal life just like anybody else. Robert Lawrence Stine was born in 1943 in Columbus,Ohio ‘(“R.L. Stine's career was very successful. He worked for Scholastic who then published his humor magazine ‘Bananas’ for children and for teenagers but had issues with his magazine. He was fired from Scholastic and was then writing full time. His first novel was in 1986 called,¨Blind Date¨ to target young adults. In 1989 he started writing fear books for children and everyone. He moved to New York City and worked as a writer and editor. Stine co-created a TV show called Eureeka's Castle in the 90s. Stine was busy working on several different books series and manage to continue all of it. Stine launched three games called Escape From HorrorLand, Attack of the Mutant and Goosebump HorrorLand. He authored three humorous science fiction books called Jerks in Training, Bozos on Patrol, and Loser in Space. He called this series Space Cadets and was published in 1991 and 1992. He launched a Goosebumps series in 1992 as well. The series ran four seasons from 1995-1998. Stine became the most successful children's horror book author, during this time and was being compared to Stephen King who is a famous horror book author for adults´(¨R.L. Stine
