i come from a native american family and i spent most of my academic life going to an all Native American school. i learned alot about my culture from my grandpa first and from my school too. My grandpa was a full blooded Native American and spoke our Cahuilla language fluentley. my grandpa passed away three years ago and he was not only very important to me, my mom lost her dad and it was really hard for her to deal with. i helped my mom get through it and she’s alot better now. My grandpa and my mom were the main people who’ve believed in me and made me who i am. i feel like going to college and being successful will not only benefit me but itll benefit my family as well. im glad that eventhough no one in my family has attended college,
