My final semester, I debated whether I would quit my job or not.
After working for over four years, I no longer enjoy it.
Management’s lack of control stressed my out.
Increasing obligations leaves little time for me to relax before graduation.
Now I am no longer happy.
Money is the reason I continue to work there.
I live comfortably with my current wage.
I pay for my bills with left plenty for savings and other purchases.
I realize finding a job for the remaining semester is unrealistic.
Additionally, most entry jobs pay minimum wage, a third less than my current wage.
The problem is which is more important, security or happiness?
Initially debating my options, the solution became immediately clear after some revelations.

After all we do have to pay for books and gas etc. In order to be able to succeed through college and have a successful life and for some people they pay out of pocket for college and for people that do get financial aid if their parents income rises they will no longer be able to receive financial aid or work as a work study on their college campus. Which will cause a lot of students to drop out because even though their parents income increases doesn’t mean that they can afford to pay out of pocket for books and other things that they need for school.
