Quinceañera-Personal Narrative

I was standing in front of all my family. I was wearing my big puffy light pink dress, and I grabbed the microphone ready to talk. The day had finally come; I’ve been waiting/planning my Quinceañera (15th) birthday party since I wad ten years old. It was June 20th, 2015 at exactly 4:00pm, and I was at my reception with all of my court (four guys). After dancing all the choreographed dances, the moment to give my speech had finally arrived. It was around 6:00pm when my uncle had finally finished saying his speech to me, he gave me the microphone, it was my turn to say thank you to everyone. As I was about to thank everyone, looking down I noticed that my hand was trembling, feeling really nervous. Suddenly the words came out of my mouth… “I would like to thank everyone for coming to my party. Thank you mom and dad for working hard and making my party happen. Thank you to everyone who helped my parents make this party possible.” When …show more content…
Memories of me crying when I fell off my bike the first time riding it, my dad worried ran towards me picking me up, holding me tight, and securing me in his arms. Memory when my parents took me to Disneyland for the first time at age 7, I smiling all the time, enjoying every second of it with both at my side, laughing with them on all the rides we took together. A memory of my parents protecting me and telling me that everything will be just fine between my best friend and me on our first argument, as I was crying, laying on my bed with tissues surrounding me. My most recent memory of all of us sitting in my room and my parents telling me that I have been one of their best miracles ever, they are very proud of me, and that I should never give up on anything, while giving me one big warm hug.
