Isolation In Let's A Quiet Storm

Many who are called are often hidden. These individuals are looked over and possibly rejected. They are individuals who were often viewed or labeled as strange or different. Some because of their talents and abilities while others because of their characteristics of not following or engaging with the crowd. They are usually loners but will socialize in events with the family and other events with a lot of people every once in a while. When they are given the platform they make a roar like a lion, speak with fire and given opportunities that only God could have created. Some individuals may have started out hanging with the crowd but at some point in their life, they were sent into a place of isolation almost as if they had vanished from the …show more content…
A quiet storm is something or someone who is not talkative, doesn’t make noise, like introverts. You never know what to expect from them. You don’t see them coming. Quiet people have the loudest minds. I read a story about a woman who described that while in high school she was quiet but had a lot of stirring in the inside. She said that’s what they say about quiet people. Quiet people are usually heavy thinkers with a lot in the inside. At certain times they release the power within. She continues to say her daughter is a quiet storm. She’s quiet but give her a plate form and she will transform into a …show more content…

I was a fairly quiet kid who did not like talking to people I did not know well. Because I was so quiet, confrontation was something I tried to avoid at all costs. I am used to be in class surrounded by strangers, random people that I do not bother to get to know because I will not see them again and even if I do have another class with them, I would keep my distance. I am an only child that has spent all of her life alone, aware that I was responsible for myself. That is why I am a girl of few friends, but those few worth more than hundreds. I am conscious that many people could get offended if I talked my mind out because most of my thoughts are either white or black; I am not a fan of gray shades (or the movie).…

As is pretty obvious, my family is fairly chaotic. There 's a lot of people who are considered family that we rarely see, and plenty of family that is blood related that we haven 't talked to in years.…

These terms are repeated in 1 Chronicles 17:4 and 1 Chronicles 17:7. When David turned to God in confession, he described himself as a servant. In each of the above references the term “servant” is from the same Hebrew word “ebed.” As a revered king, no one would have raised any eyebrows if a nobler title was ascribed to David. After all, he had been adjudged by God as a man after his heart. Yet, he is called a servant.…
