Do “quiet” protests about laws help our society in America? In today's society people have their own opinions about everything. Laws today are being altered, made and even taken out completely. In America we have a free society that makes choices not by the people but by the ones in charge. Some main reasons that peaceful resistance to laws can positively affect us are they keep everyone on their toes, people can think what they want to show the government that they may be making the wrong decision, and people will never be tired of our government because they can have conversations all the time about the government’s decisions. People can have fun with today’s government because of the freedoms given.

People who are getting involved, talking about laws to their friends, sharing their opinions, can really influence today’s human kind. Americans, for example, are very open to what they think, like people who protest on the street or outside of a court house, people who are on the news sharing their opinions to national things, and even just people who document these debates in the newspaper are showing people why laws can be great or bad in their opinion. The government will see their protest and think more about it, and possibly change the law because they didn’t know what they were thinking when they made the law.

People can technically help the government because they would be telling the government that they are making a wrong decision. The government doesn’t always do what is best for our community. They can make the wrong decision and not even know about it. They don’t always have their thinking cap on when it comes to non serious issues for them, but to some people they are keeping them from something very important. People can change
