Quick Profile Tool Analysis

Improved Essays
The quick profile tool provided by Career Beam was one of the best tools I have used, including profile tools provided by the military. I was completely surprised with how accurate the profile addressed my strengths and personality. I do not believe I could argue with any of the findings it came up with from the questions I answered. Furthermore, it has pinpointed the industries and areas of interest I have been the most interested in after my career in the military. Now that I understand some of the tools TUI is providing me, I am confident I will become more successful with job opportunities than I would have been had I not attended TUI.
The quick profile tool was extremely beneficial by acknowledging my areas of interest and personality

As a chemical engineer for a large chemical manufacturer I developed an excel tool that analyzed sales trends for our products and compared the sales history to trends in customer requests for those products. This tool identified markets and applications where customers were asking for information about products but they were not placing orders. I hypothesized that by analyzing these gaps we could discover when our customers were evaluating our product for a potential new application. This would trigger my employer to form a research partnership enabling the development of new technologies while also increasing sales. My supervisor recognized me with a distinguished employee award for the development of this tool.…
