The three questions short story is about a king who one day got a thought, he asked asked himself 3 questions. Which were “what is the right time to start something?”, “ which people should he listen to?” and “what is the most important thing for him to do?” So the king sent out a message throughout the whole kingdom, promising them money if they could answer the 3 questions. Many smart men came to visit the king to hopefully answer the questions correctly, every single one of them answered the question differently. The king wasn't satisfied with any of the responses he got so he gave nobody the cash reward. The king eventually decided to seek the wisdom of the local hermit. The hermit only would see simple people, so the king dressed in simple …show more content…
The bearded man said that he was one of the king's enemy and he swore to get revenge on the king because he sent his brother to death and seized the bearded man property. He stated that he wanted to kill the king but upon trying the king's guard had wounded him, and the king saved him from death. The king was amused with himself because he had made peace with his enemy and they were now friends. The king not only became friends with him but he promised to give the man his property back and he would send servant and a doctor to check up on the bearded man. The king asked the hermit one more time to answer the question. The hermit replied you have already figured it out, The king still didn't understand. The hermit said “remember then, there is only one time that is important and that time is now. It is the most important time because it is the only time we have any power to act.” “the most necessary person is the person is the person you are with at a particular moment for no one knows what will happen in the future and whether we will meet anyone else. The most important business is to do that person good because we were sent into this world for that
