Meeting the course goal was very important in order to be successful in this class. Before taking this class one would relied on writing a paper without actually read it over once or twice or perform spelling and grammar corrections using the Microsoft tools. However, after taking module one assignment, it becomes clean that in order to do well in this class, it is of utmost importance to triple read and use the check spell and grammar tool to identify proper grammar, miss spell words and sentence structure. It is also important to have a third party to just read it over to see if what was written make sense. Critical thinking is something that is learned over a period of time. During this course, one has learned give the proper credit to an author where the information was taken from. This was important so as to prevent plagiarism (Halpern, 2013). One has also learnt that for each reference there must a citation in the body of the essay. Another important learning experience was to ensure that all fonts must be in times new roman and it must be double spacing, references should be on a separate page, and the importance of indentation. One has definitely learned to follow the basic rules of the APA format in this …show more content…
I am now able to apply the concepts into every day nursing practice, and other bachelor of science nursing (BSN) courses. I will forever use the knowledge I gained from this program to further my journey as I pursed my BSN.
It was also important to adhere to the university goal in order to be successful in this course. At the times one was able to read the text book or gather information else where to enhance one’s learning. One was able to behavior professionally at all times to the professor and fellow classmates. It was important to accomplish the skills necessary to researched based on evidence.
It is very important in nursing to be held at a higher level. Nursing is always at the top of the blame game in the work place. Whenever something goes wrong the first the place one tend to point the finger is at the nurse. This course has help one to remember to always act and speak in a professional manner. One might not share the same view, but it is always important to show respect and be the better person.
