Servant leadership is a 50-50 commitment between leadership and the organization. Anyone can learn the necessary skills needed to be a servant leader all they have to do is have the initiative to change, be willing to grow, and have the desire to improve their current leadership skills. The ten main characters needed to be a servant leader includes listening, empathy, healing, awareness, persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, commitment to the growth of people, and last building a community. Listening is the most important trait a servant leader can have because it builds strength and commitment in all parties involved.
