In health care, Watson would look at the patient and recommend which cancer they had. Doctors would then tell Watson if the diagnosis and the treatment given were right or wrong.”
- “Artificial intelligence is similar to Cognitive computing but you give them the capability to make a decision. You aren’t checking on the decisions, the robot is making them itself. That’s why people are concerned about AI. Similar to the movie Space Odyssey where the rocket kill off the astronauts one by one. It’s been decided that only allow humans should be allowed to make decisions. If you’re interested in this, there is a sixty minute episode on Watson.”
