If that one person is indeed bias, he has just shared his opinion with thousands or more people. Of course having an opinion is not a bad thing at all; however, it is a larger stake when a multitude of people can’t see that this is simply your opinion and they take what you say as facts it can have a large negative effect on people.
The media, in some cases, is the only source of information that people have. It is a major influence in people’s lives and their perspectives in particular. Even when media spreads false or true information people will adhere to it. As common people, we will never really know if we are getting the truth. We can’t believe everything we are told.
