. Cultural Issues-
a. One cultural issue is the family is used to using home remedies first and then seeking out a folk healer rather than a physician. While in some cultures this works well and what they believe in, it is still important to keep up to date on physicals and assessments. In order to find problems before they arise the family needs to be seeing a physician for yearly check ups to catch the development of health problems before they have progressed to far. It is important to address this issue and help them find options that fit their culture the best while still give them good health care and preventative measures.

Another way to improve performance is to build strong healthy muscles. While exercising or performing muscles can get tiny microscopic tears in them and it is the body’s job to repair these and build new muscle for strength. To help repair and enhance strength, an individual should eat 20 grams of high quality protein within in 2 hours after the exercise happens. Examples of 20 grams of high quality protein are the following: 3 egg whites, 1.5 cups cooked dry beans, 3 oz chicken no skin, 3 oz. of lean pork. It is made of cultured pasteurized milk.

i. This is a pear shaped vegetable hat belongs to the gourd family. It is ripe when light green in color. A vegetable that is low in calorie but is a source of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and fiber. It can be eaten raw or cooked. One cup contains 25 calories. 165mg of potassium, 6 g of carbs with 2.2g of fiber is included. Vitamin C, is found, with iron, calcium, and magnesium also. Its bright color also provides many antioxidants.
