John Green has a unique way of writing that make the characters seem like actual teenagers. He also writes a lot about coming of age, so it makes the whole story line understandable. In Paper Towns, Quentin is kind of quirky, its actually entertaining to see how “his” mind works. He is extremely smart and is looking forward to his future and really doesn't want to mess it up. Although he’s excited to get to collage, he has a lot of nerves. This alone is relatable to most teens these days. Then adding a love interest makes it quite a bit engaging. They stood there and just looked. He thought it was amazing. He never saw Florida as the way he saw it while looking down on it. On the ground there was trash laying on the streets and busy, in the sky he saw all the lights and how nice all the buildings looked. Margo saw the worst. She went on a rant about how it all was fake. People grow up to worry about their future and never the present. Its also a never ending cycle. A person grows, worries about college,
