Queenie Volupides and Arthur, her husband, got into an argument. Queenie Volupides had then went to a country club where there was a party happening. It was about one in the morning when she decided to leave, but she didn’t leave alone. Queenie invited a few friends to follow her home and have just one more drink. Queenie’s friends arrived to her house ten minutes after her, when she told them that Arthur slipped and fell down the stairs when he was walking down for another drink. Arthur sadly died, but was Queenie telling the truth? After carefully looking at all of the evidence, it showed that Queenie had killed her husband.

If he was going down the stairs and slipped, his immediate reaction had to have been to grab the railing and hold onto it. He had to have reached it the railing with his left hand and let go of the glass making it shatter. In the picture, he still holding onto it and it looks perfectly fine, as if nothing happened to it. Now, let’s focus on Queenie. Since Arthur had one wound on his head and it obviously wasn’t from falling down the stairs, what caused it? It had to have been something hard that killed him instantly. One of the pan’s is being used for food, so what I think is that Queenie hit him with the pan, killing him, and then left to the club. When she came back, she cooked the food to hide the fact that she hit him with it. In conclusion, I believe that Queenie and Arthur got into an argument before heading out to the club. Queenie hit him with the frying pan and framed the body to look like an accident. She then went to the club after and when she came back she cooked the food to hide it. She told her friend, “Something terrible happened. Arthur slipped and fell down the stairs. He was coming down for another drink--he still had the glass in his hand--I think he’s dead, Oh, my God--What shall I do?” She was actually lying. She killed
