Queen Elizabeth II born in London, 1926 she became known as a princess. Her younger sister Princess Margaret came a long not much after. They grew up together and went through many tough times. Princess Elizabeth loved horses and art and she still does to this day. Princess met her soon to be husband when she was just 13 years old. Elizabeth and her family stayed out of London because it was not safe their. Even though she wasn’t currently in London she still helped them out as much as she could, by reassuring that the country was going to be be fine. On her first public radio broadcast she said “When peace comes, remember, it will be for us, the children of today, to make the world of tomorrow a better and happier place.” When she was in her upper teens she decided to join the Women's Branch of the British Army. She trained as a driver and mechanic. Later on she was given the rank of Honorary Junior Commander. She accomplished lots in this terrific time period and she earned the trust of her country
