Queen Candace Today’s post I want to share about the life of Queen Candace. Queen Candace has two nicknames: Kandake and Kentake. Kandake is sometimes translated into Candace. She was known for being a Nubian warrior. She also ruled the Kingdom of Kush. Candace sometimes ruled in her own right. Furthermore, Candace was a warrior queen who led the armies into battle. Candace ruled from 25-41 B.C. Candace revolted and waged war against the Roman power. Candace was the name in the kingdom of Kush. She was also a co-ruler. When she passed away, her son inherited the throne on her passing. Her husband was her consort and not a king.She was the only queen of Kush.When the Romans went into war against Kush Candace
