Quarter 5: Business Analysis

Improved Essays
We have been executing our marketing strategy very effectively in the last few quarters. Table 4 displays our projected division profitability statement since the start of our company. All profits in quarter 5 are forecasted numbers, only expenses are accurate to what is actually going to happen in this quarter. The projected demand this quarter, which was used to calculate these profit numbers were, 900 units sold of the Ulti-Explorer at $3500, 900 units sold of the Ulti-Creator at $3800 and 300 units sold of the Ulti-Achiever at $2700. These numbers are based on previous of demand of around 400 last quarter, which was a 50% increase in demand from two previous quarters. Quarter 3 is when we started to sell our products, even though the cumulative net profit is still negative that is because expenses increased the most in that quarter because along with starting to sell the product we also had to expand our sales channel in order to make a revenue, and starting to open new offices and hiring people is very costly. If our forecasting for demand is close to what quarter 5 will actually produce in terms of profit, we will have a 69% increase from quarter 4 to quarter 5, which is almost double what is was from quarter 3 to quarter 4. If we sustain our growth and incrementally increase our spending like we plan on doing, our cumulative net profits will dramatically increase for the rest of the

Whilst producing Figure 2, I discovered several key connections that I believe are significant. I think the demand for a local art club is the result of two factors. First, it was clear to me that political decisions around educational reform and the current curriculum have resulted in the decline of arts learning in schools (Neelands et al., 2015, p.44-45).
