♣ Recycling- Coca Cola had developed a vision to recycle and reuse water aims to return at least the amount of water that it uses in its operations back to the environment through waste water treatment. It hopes that this treated water is at least at a level that supports aquatic life. Even though its not possible to return all the water to the standard of drinking, the aims to return water at a level where it can be used for secondary activities like gardening and toilet use. Over the past three years Coca has been able to increase water recycling at its plants as shown in Table 1. Table 1: Water Recycled
