The degree to measure, if the defects and other substantial discrepancies are not present in a product or service is known as Quality. Quality have many definitions it depends upon the different prospective. If the product can meet the some required and pre-set standards it is considered to be of good quality only after that the product is assumed to meet the requirements of a customer. If we take an example of an Automobile company that the products, they are using are not meeting the required standards and company recalled some of the automobiles, it will decrease the production of the company and customer will lose faith in that particulars firms car’s quality. Due to the increase in different requirements by customers, the manufacturers in automotive industry are making products in large number of range with different options and variants. For example, a German brand has made 1017 different variants of automobile. The difficulty and pressure because of the international markets and competition is impacting a lot to ensure the efficiency in logistics. (2) These automotive industries are importing products to the market in overseas, instead of just shipping the whole manufactures and assembled cars. The automotive industries are facing problem to assemble the shipped parts in local manufacturing plants. The import duties on parts are less than the whole assembled part or the finished end goods, the products which are being import take less space in the freight which can further help in reducing freight costs. Few of the fragments are produced locally in the manufacturing facilities or the local or international sub-contractors help them to arrange the parts. Intelligence: Using more and more advanced techniques like using simulation modelling tools, analytics to get the better idea of forceful risks and restraints.
Instrumentation: The use of smart devices such as sensors to overcome the risks by managing the difficulty of products and decreasing the costs of supply chain.
The intelligent method can help the automotive industries supply chain to make development in front of all the challenges by providing timely results and giving advantages to take on time decisions which are difficult for the normal supply chain techniques to compare with. (8)
The trending automotive industry can identify the standard need for store system prominence. It contemplates prominence to be the most important factor for countering to the new emerging and most occurring problems which includes issues like globalisation, controlling the cost and other issues by the client.
