I understand the value of a quality preceptorship clinical experience plays on my development an entry level nurse. I personally want a placement site that will better prepare me for the demands of real world nursing, and prepare me for my nursing board exams (NCLEX). I feel that placement in a medical-surgical unit help me to meet my goals best and provide me with a great learning opportunity. The practice and competency goals that I would like to achieve center around building on my nursing knowledge and learning how to apply my knowledge. I would like to become more proactive in seeking out learning experiences and take personal responsibility for my learning. A preceptorship experience is based on mentorship and to get the best experience

    Joining the New Visions program was one of the wisest decisions I have made.
