Learning Qualities There are so many different adjectives to describe one person but there are many that do not describe one too. In this essay an adjective describes what a person is and isn’t as an individual. I know for sure that there aren’t just two to three adjectives to describe somebody but three adjectives that describe me perfectly is ambitious, attentive, and gregarious. There are also a few adjectives that I need to work on to help me in school and in the world, being independent and truly confident.
I believe that I am very ambitious both in school and outside of school. By being ambitious I am able to achieve good grades in school. Being ambitious to get good grades, I complete any assignments that are assigned in my classes. To become independent I will start to make decisions on my own. Whether it’s choosing my clothes without asking for somebody’s opinion or needing someone to help and make a decision for me, I will begin making choices on my own. I will also begin to raise my hand in class if I have a question instead of relying for somebody else to ask the same question I have or rely on my friends for help. Even if I have to become more of an independent person, being independent means being confident.
I have to work on being truly confident in myself and my appearance so nothing will be able to stop me from doing something. In order to help myself become confident, I will have to learn to accept what I look like and be comfortable with who I am. I will also push myself to raise my hand in class to ask for help or answer a question without hesitating. To also become confident, I will learn to stop overthinking and criticising myself to the point where I have fear of what others may think of

Being six feet tall has its perks, but it also comes with some stereotypes and assumptions that have followed me for my entire life. So to begin, I need to clarify what being tall does not mean to me. Height is not what defines me and the activities that I participate in. I am not a ballerina, basketball player, volleyball player, or model, all of which I have been presumed to be at some point in my life. The man in the grocery store who commented on my “long, dancer-like legs” does not know that I despise ballet.…
