According to research made, about 66% of business leaders say that they are instructing their staff to better their leadership skills so they could perform their jobs better. This means that many want a person that is trained and knows the adequate skills of a leader. Nevertheless, many people have different opinions as to what actually makes a person a strong leader. Others disagree that leaders are made. To be a good leader, you have to train and learn the specific skills needed. Some of the most important qualities of a leader are: good work ethic, honesty, trustworthiness, confidence, optimism, and respect. A good leader also surrounds themselves with intelligent people. This means anyone who claims to be a good leader must be respectful. If people show respect for others, they set an example for everyone else.
