Quantitative research is designed to test hypotheses and involves a plan, structure and strategy. This is to aid in solving research problems and to maintain control of the research (LoBiondo-Wood, & Haber, 2013). Qualitative research is subjective, interactive and systematic method to give meaning and describe the human experience. This type of research examines things in their natural environment, analysis/ interprets the phenomena of the people that bring meaning to them (LoBiondo-Wood, & Haber, 2013). As health care is always changing it will influence societal change to increase the health of our society.
