Type of study
Qualitative exploratory descriptive design will be used in order to achieve the study objectives. The study will use face to face in –depth interviews, a qualitative data collection technique will be used to get the information of the midwives perception on fetal heart rate monitoring during labour using Moyo and Pinard’s fetal scope( Boyce C, 2006).
Face to face in- depth interview will be used to obtain detail information that allow participant to talk freely and express inner fillings and thoughts. The researcher will use an interview guide that contains a list of main topics or themes that will cover during the interview.
The number of guide items, will be kept to a minimum to give enough time for face to face in- depth interview,
