The purpose of this report is to evaluate assessment data collected using a quiz that was administered to community college students. The population consisted of 36 students that were officially enrolled in my economics course and that participated in a quiz. The quiz consisted of 10 multiple-choice questions, with four possible solutions per question. In order to receive credit for an answer, each student must identify the correct option and shade the corresponding answer in a scantron. Question nine and four were answered correctly by half of all students and seemed to be the most difficult questions in the quiz. This brings me to my first finding that not all questions had the same difficulty. Additional research is needed to uncover the reason or reasons why some questions were more or less difficult
After analyzing the performance of each student, I found it interesting how student #36 was able to correctly answer all of the most difficult questions, but failed to answer a question that seemed to be less difficult. Student #18 was also able to get many of the most difficult questions correct, but failed to identify the answers to less challenging questions. In contrast student #7 seems as if he/she is not capable of answering difficult questions, but the student remarkably got the most difficult question right. It was very good to know that two students were able to get all of the questions in the quiz correct and that seven simply missed one question in the quiz. One of the most disheartening findings was that one
