The quadrat sampler is very easy to calculate the density and the total population. It is also easy to use in other experiments because you are just taking a sample of a quadrat and obtaining the total number of that quadrat. In addition, this quadrant sampler was close to the total number of bugs in the area. It was not just close to the total number of the area but it could save you time so you would not have to count all of the quadrats. However, when doing sampler quadrants is better to do the random quadrats since it is not just focusing in a specific area and the bugs where more abundant in this area which is why the random average sample was closer to the total average bugs in the area. If you want to get an accurate estimate of the absolute density of the pill bugs without counting them all use the random quadrat sampler because it would give you a close number to the actual
