Qnt201 Week 1 Assignment

This week was the best week I had all semester. It was a glorious week for me, to say the least. I was able to finish the written assignment, study hard for my quiz, and also be able to get an awesome grade for my quiz. I thoroughly enjoyed this week. First of all, for the reading assignment, I had to read section 8.1 called, "System of Linear Equations: Gausssian Elimination". Through this section, I was able to learn how to solve the system of equations for three variables. It took me a few readings to understand the extra variable system. I don't know why, but I feel like it's easier for me to mentally find the answer through process of elimination, than going through the huge process of going by the formulas to find the answer to a three variable system. However, I did notice a weakness, that if the system of equation has two solutions, then I will mentally miss the second solution and get the answer wrong. Anyways, I also had to read section 8.7 called, "Systems of Non-Linear Equations and Inequalities", which was a difficult section for me. The written assignment was about solving systems and it was fairly easy for me to complete. I feel like I cheated during the written assignment, because I am easily able to come up with the answer, mentally and using process of elimination. A perfect example would be the second question on the written assignment, where I was able to find the answer mentally, in less than a minute, but it took me about 10-15 minutes to go through all of the steps to find the answer using the formulas. Because of last week's mistake of forgetting to submit my Written Assignment on the correct time, I turned in my written assignment by Saturday night, just so I won't forget to submit it. I looked this morning on the written assignment solutions for unit 6, and I was glad to see that I was able to get all the answers
