Pyramids Of Giza Research Paper

The Pyramids of Giza are one of the most important monuments ever built, and a very important part of Ancient Egypt. Yet not enough is being done to preserve them. Wind blown sand is eroding away the outer sections of the pyramids. They have been around for 4,500 years, since the reign of a long ago king. They attract millions of tourists each year, contributing a ton to the economy. Based on all of these reasons, it is obvious that we need to save them.

The Pyramids of Giza were built by the Ancient Egyptians to hold important people who have died. These colossal tombs were built to be magnificent. Today, these tombs are one of the most recognized monuments in the world, residing in and around Cairo, Egypt. This is proven in an article from www.history.com/topics/ancient-history/the-egyptian-pyramids, which states “More than 4,000 years later, the Egyptian pyramids still retain much of their majesty, providing a glimpse into the country’s rich and glorious past.” This shows that the pyramids are very important to Egyptian history and culture.
