Pyramid of Djoser
The Pyramid of Djoser is a step pyramid in the Saqqara necropolis Egypt. The step is often referred as mastabas. The mastabas were built on top of one another and the pyramid was later polished in limestone. I don’t believe this was the actual intention at first when constructing the Pyramid of Djoser. The mastaba, bench in Arabic, is the structural base at the bottom of the pyramid. The Step Pyramid has been visualized as a series of mastabas shapes gradually decreasing in its as it ascends from the floor. This origin gave the pyramid its geometric shape. It was built during the 27th century BC for the burial of Pharaoh Djoser. They were made from sun dried mud brick and most have long since crumbled to dust. The pyramid is considered to be one of the earliest large-scale cut stone construction. Djoser's mastabas-made pyramid complex is a major evolution in its ancient Egyptian building techniques. The Pyramid of Djoser consists of multiple units. The pyramid is in center of the courtyard with the House of the North and House of the South directly underneath the pyramid. You have only entrance next to Heb Sed Court where Temple T is on top. The South Tomb and South Tomb Chapel is on top of the entrance where it sits away from the main structure, the
