This easy recipe gives seniors the chance to eat something healthy when they're hungry. Blueberries are full of proanthocyanidins, which is an antioxidant linked to extended, healthy brain function. This fruit also has anthocyanins, which is an organic compound known to aid in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. This information is according to a study conducted by researchers at the Cincinnati Academic Health Center and published on the Medical News Today website.
