Pursuing a Masters in Business Administration Pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree to achieve a personal goal may seem ludicrous to some, but not to the individual who desires to have a solid foundation of knowledge on which to build on. An undergraduate who decides to return to school as a graduate student is investing in his or her future. According to Levy (n.d.), an MBA can open doors for an individual and expose students to the business world in terms of job functions and industry. Is the Jungian 16-Type Personality Accurate? How Am I Perceived? During a self-assessment through the “What’s My Jungian 16-Type Personality”, I learned quite a bit about myself. Through the basic personality test I learned that I scored high in extroversion, agreeableness, consciousness, and emotional stability. I scored moderate in openness to experience; even though this was not a high score, at least I did not score low. Through the Jungian 16-Type personality analysis and with a score of ENFJ, I learned that I am charismatic, compassionate, and highly persuasive. The assessment also revealed possible career choices as a television producer, fund raiser, drama teacher, or a health advisor. I was most impressed with the trustworthy assessment; I scored a 60, which suggests that I am perceived as a trustworthy individual. Provided the assessment tests were accurate in scoring, and students were honest with his or her answers, individuals can be conscience of the areas in which they excel, hence, better preparing them for a management position. Although the assessment test did not reveal a career choice in a management position, I believe that with time and continued education, I will have all the attributes needed to become a manager.
