During the school year, since I am volunteering part time in the same lab since to work on a future project that is a continuation of the previous research completed over the summer. She was hospitalized for a week and then admitted after being prescribed medication for her to take daily. However, she continues to have trouble breathing and engaging in physical activity. We have been scheduled to have routine visits to the hospital, which not all of the expenses will be covered. It would be very difficult for my mother to return to work as it involves labor intensive tasks such as cleaning restrooms, throwing away garbage and working outside. Thus our family doctor has given her a leave from work for a year, and we have applied to for employment benefits.
