I only wanted to do the activities I was comfortable with. Often times I would completely avoid situations where I was not in control. I believe that growing up with two distinct cultures, I developed into a person with differing opinions and a much broader view. As a part of NC State’s community, I would not only be able to share the traditions I grew up with, but also learn from other students and how their culture has impacted their lives, as well. The world is immense, and there is no way that I will be able to experience everything, and I believe that NC State will allow me to be able to learn from other students and become
