I would have to say that pursuing my degree would be something that I was somewhat apprehensive about getting. I thought there was no real need for it at this point in my life as I am getting older. I was told by some people that I value their opinion who said, it was not worth pursuing. They said the amount of money and time it would take would not be worth it in the long run. Thankfully, it was not enough to discourage me for this adventure I have been on these last few years. The main incentive for continuing my studies comes down to the fact of limitations. Regardless of what people were saying I concluded that without finishing University I was limiting my future opportunities.

Being involved with my community is very imperative because it allows me to give back to the city that has raised me for the past eighteen years and help that same city prosper for future generations. Helping others is/has always been/will always be one of the most enjoyable things I could do if awarded with a degree. If granted with a degree, no matter what the certificate may be for or of, there will always be a way to help and impact another person’s life.
