Pursuing A Career In Psychology: Personal Statement

After laying down the foundation for a career in Psychology with my undergraduate studies I am ready to continue on that path by taking the following steps.
I will narrow down my areas of interest to an actionable target. The classes I have taken at SFSU have led me to the conclusion that I am interested in working with people. I am interested in how they think, learn and remember. I am oriented to problem-solving. I think I am interested in working with older adults after my experience in working as a research assistant in the aging and memory lab, but I also enjoy older children in middle school and high school.
I will prepare for the next stage of education. I have decided to take six months to a year to for this process. Since I am interested
