Pursuing A Career As A Nursing Assistant

I plan on taking as many transferable science credits as I can here, then move on to Iowa State University for an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and a graduate degree in Veterinary Medicine, large and small animal. Because I am still on my parent's insurance plans, I cannot be considered for any need based financial aid, as my father is a software engineer at Rockwell Collins, though my parents are not financing my education; thus I have come up with a few ideas to keep the threat of accepting loans at bay for a while longer. These involved earning certification as a Phlebotomist Technician and as a Nursing Assistant, practically guaranteeing a job that will provide both clinical and laboratory experience, as well as avoiding a career in fast food. …show more content…
