Purpose Of Attending College

The primary purpose of attending college is to get a strong education in one or more background. While some argue that the purpose of college is to become more a mature adult and have life experiences; I have to disagree. By getting a firm education in the career that you are interested in gives you a much better chance of getting a job in that field. You can't be a history teacher if you do not know anything about history. The whole point of attending class is to one day get a degree and by that means: an education.
