The closest one would get to know the true story of the iconic singer, Prince’s life, would be the Grammy award winning movie, ‘Purple Rain’. ‘The movie was indeed not an autobiography of Prince’s life but it was as close as the director could get. In the movie, Prince was a young, African American man, who was an up and coming musician. He was from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He meets a woman named Apolonia, she was an aspiring singer to him, she also was not just a singer to him, and he fell in love with her. A good friend of his soon .interfered with their relationship. There are outstanding things that made prince who he is remembered for today. He is known for his tireless work ethic, he had even claimed to have written Little Red Corvette in his sleep, his fashion sense, and his music.
