Purchasing A Vehicle Analysis

When purchasing a vehicle it is important that I explore other vehicle options. That means being able to follow up with researching a vehicle information such as year, make and model of the vehicle and also the cost of full coverage of insurance. More importantly, if it was suitable economically and financially affordable. The steps that I used to explain are the following: down payment, information, time management, and exploring vehicle options. The hardest decision-making in purchasing a vehicle was the down payment. I couldn't decide on whether using it on a new vehicle or used. I knew that if it was a new vehicle I would have to put at least 20% down depending on the vehicle (year, make, and model). Though, if I were to use the down …show more content…
I was told that I needed to provide 2 check stubs, proof of residence (at least one in residence), utility bill, and 5 to 10 references. Due to the fact, which I work for a contractor, I was also told to provide bank statements 3 months prior to the date I was going to purchase a vehicle. Not only was that time consuming, but it put a bit more of stress into searching for the right vehicle. The next step in the information process was making a decision between new and used vehicle. The good thing about a new vehicle is that dealt in no accident, mechanical problems, clean history and can be driven by individual. I thought about the idea of purchasing a new vehicle which I like the special benefits and that meant the warranty. On the other hand, with a used vehicle, I have to decide that the cost of the car will be higher, as well as insurance rates, and depreciation of the …show more content…

Prioritizing my schedule was from work to school was hard enough and but worth the effort for something I was planning on having for years to come. With that being said, I decided to reach out to Chevrolet of Austin. Arriving at the dealership, I saw the vehicle that I wanted. It was a 2010 Jeep Cherokee Sport Edition. I found time during my work schedule to speak to the sales representative on test driving the vehicle. The drive was smooth and the miles were under 50,000 miles as one would expect or even better. At that point, I scheduled a day that I may come by and provide the information on purchasing/leasing the vehicle with the financial department. Honestly, I thought that it was going to be a hassle from that point on, though, I figured if I have all the requirements it would be smooth sailing from that point. I noticed that once the requirements are met, it takes a couple of days before getting the final world on the vehicle. I think that that was probably the second worst moment you can experience. After a couple of days, I got a call from the financial department saying that I was able to purchase/lease the vehicle with 10% down and no warranty on the vehicle. I knew from that point on good things were going to come my way. As difficult as

But so far buying a car isn't something people really talk about and when it does come up there's no detail on how it is purchased. I have acknowledged that some compact cars, especially when used can have better mileage than another, and can also take more mileage without any problems for example a Dodge Charger can be used, but also perfectly work fine as long as i've done the research and know what I am looking for. One of the two cars that I am currently interested in is the Dodge Charger and the Dodge Challenger.…

My first car was something that I greatly was looking forward to getting as a child and my interest in getting one grew, as the days got closer to my sixteenth birthday. The first car I owned was a Automatic Black 2004 Ford f-150 truck, which I discovered on a website called Craigslist. It was priced at five thousand nine hundred dollars with only eighty-four thousand miles on it, which in my case was great considering that I could only afford a seven thousand dollar car. The truck came with all manual locks and windows and also had a small amount of hail damage that could really only be seen at a certain angle. But even with reasonable price on the truck I still attempted to negotiate for an even lower price to further my luck.…
