When the gun goes BANG, the runners take off. The Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt gets off to a fast start. Bolt is beginning to pull away; he celebrates as he crosses the finish line, and wins the race with ease. All sprinters have specific gear they wear to increase their chances of winning. For example, all sprinters wear tight fitting shirts, shorts, and track cleats. This Puma ad depicts the Jamaican sprinter running in the foreground with his arm stretched out wide as he is crossing the finish line. The massive crowd watches as the sprinters all make a desperate attempt to catch Bolt. The words “Unleash the Puma within” are in large green and white lettering. Also, in the bottom right corner, there is a picture of a Puma track cleat and “Puma speed” written in the background. This Puma ad is using the great Jamaican sprinter Bolt, visuals that show the stakes are high, and easy to see body language to let viewers know that its product is top of the line.

In the ad, viewers see Bolt coasting to the finish line with his arms out wide. Bolt does not have to finish the race hard. Bolt is clearly in first, and his body speaks volumes about how confident he is. Puma is showing their product is without a doubt the top of the line. The other runners are not just any average runners. The other runners are the best from their respected countries, but they all seem to be sprinting with form and giving their last efforts to catch Bolt.
