Pulmonary Doctor Summary

Decent Essays
On 3/15, Hugh visited his pulmonary doctor. Dr. Nerella examined Hugh and listened to his lungs. The doctor stated they were clear. Staff discussed with the doctor of the congested breathing that was heard from time to time. Dr. Nerella stated it was congestion in his upper breathing areas that drains from his sinuses. Since Hugh does not cough to clear his passages it remains and this is what is heard. The doctor prescribed a daily PRN for congestion to help with clearing mucous and wanted staff to encourage Hugh to cough to help break up the congestion. Dr. Nerella wanted Hugh to have a CT Scan before his follow up visit in June. The scan is scheduled in April.

There were several instances in the past where I treated patients with neck pain by giving mobilizations techniques and modalities in and around cervical area. This article was a convincing one which helped me to understand the concept of biomechanical and etiological relationship between cervical and thoracic structures and how this knowledge can be capitalized by effectively using thoracic mobilization in patients suffering from chronic mechanical neck pain.…
