It is no doubt that people look forward to a spectacular vacation after a long period of dedicated work. One of my favorite things to do is travel. I love everything about it, from planning where to go to what sights I will see. Traveling should be fun and relaxing, as well as provide new learning opportunities. It's fun to emerge yourself in the culture of the area and feel how it is to live there. One quality that makes a great vacation is the weather. Sun, beaches, and warm weather are an important part in making a great vacation. Puerto Rico is known for clear water, sandy beaches, and warm weather. There is no schedule, no one is rushed or has somewhere they must be. This helps you get away from your planner, phone, and calendar. In this fast paced society, it is very common to see people in a rush to get to the next destination or excursion. People usually want to do things efficiently and fast, considering that is how their regular days are. When on vacation, people need to slow down. People shouldn't have to wake up early and have a timeline, because that's what their day to day lives are usually like. To relax by the pool or beach and to not have to be somewhere at a certain time, feels more like a vacation. My family and I go on cruises through the Caribbean every year. It is one of my favorite vacations because of the many activities available and the different places you can see. Even though we enjoy cruises very much, we always seem to complain about the scheduled dinner and show times. We often miss the six- o'clock dinner time because we like to make our own schedule on vacations, instead of always having a deadline to stick to. Caribbean vacations by land or sea, give you the perfect relaxing feel. Jamaicans are all about not worrying and going with the flow and that's how every vacation should
