I am grateful for opportunity I have been given, to be part of the Pueblo City Schools team. I am especially appreciative of this opportunity to learn and serve under the building leadership of Mrs. Cary Palumbo. I am impressed with her knowledge and more importantly, her commitment to serve as a turnaround principal for Franklin Elementary. As you well know, the competencies required to be a successful turnaround principal are similar to those of any principal such as setting the direction, developing the staff and making sure the systems work.
